Palliative Care at Home

Palliative Care Services of the Lehigh Valley improves quality of life to your loved one at home

Palliative Care Services of the Lehigh Valley helps ensure your loved one is living as comfortably and fully as possible in his or her home. At the recommendation of your loved one’s physician, a nurse practitioner will visit your loved one at home, saving him or her trips to the doctor’s office.

In addition to giving medical care, the nurse practitioner will assess what else your loved one may need and make recommendations. This may include assistance with daily activities, such as cleaning or emotional or spiritual support from a counselor or chaplain. In addition, a nurse practitioner will help your loved one meet his or her personal goals, whether it’s going outside on a sunny day or pain relief, and educate you and your family about how to help care for your loved one.
